Pulau Beras Basah, or Beras Bash Island (“Beras Basah” is loosely translated as “Wet Rice”), is an island of the southern coast of Langkawi island. It is usually one of the islands featured in island-hopping tours.
Pantai Tengah is basically a further extension of Pantai Cenang beach that extends to the south western tip of Langkawi.
The Teluk Baru Jetty is one of the several jetties used as the starting point for island hopping boat tour.
The most crowded beach in Langkawi, Cenang Beach (or Pantai Cenang) is located at the western stretch of the island. Many hotels and restaurants can be seen lining up along the main road of Cenang town.
The sight of the giant eagle sculpture greets visitors who arrive at the island by ferry or boat. Langkawi can be reached via the sea route from Penang, Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis ports.
