The Durian Perangin Waterfall is one of the well known waterfalls in Langkawi. The waterfall was named after the durian fruit trees that grow in the forested surroundings of the waterfall. Durian Perangin Waterfall is located at the northern slope of Gunung Raya (Mount Raya), at the north eastern side of the island.
As one of the highest and steepest cable car ride in the world, the Langkawi cable car offers a breathtaking view of the island’s mountainous side and its northwestern coasts. The Langkawi cable car operates from a base station at the Oriental Village to the peaks of the Machincang mountains.
